2012 Duet

2012 Duet

This newly released Duet is a perfect blend of 79% Semillon and 21% Sauvignon Blanc. This distinctive vintage exhibits strong fruit flavors with a refreshing oak toast and light acids. It presents a full mouth feel and is solidly structured with a sweet apple and pear sensation and a delightfully crisp finish. The small amount of Sauvignon Blanc balances out the citrus flavors of the Semillon. This wine offers your palate a nice structure and great balance. ~200 cases made

2004 CWM Syrah

The CWM stands for Corey Wayne McDougall, the winemaker's son, who passed away in 2003. Winemaker McDougall has created quite a tribute to his son, with the results on the nose opening with plums, mocha espresso, cedar and cooked strawberry jam. On the juicy palate are pomegranates, sugared rhubarb and dark chocolate, all combining for a smoothness that broadens from the middle to finish, thanks to the blended Cab (9%). ~200 cases made.
